Yvonne Ayliffe
Principle Osteopath
Yvonne is the Principal of the practices and graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, having studied a four year course in Osteopathic Medicine.
She has practiced as an Osteopath in Hertfordshire-UK, Dominica, St Kitts, Montserrat-Caribbean, Glasgow-Scotland, Zambia-Africa, Lincolnshire -UK, for 19 years and for the last 20 years has been settled in Norfolk, establishing 2 highly respected practices in the Norfolk communities.
Her work has included being responsible for pain control through osteopathy, in a Gerson Clinic; 2 years as a Clinic Tutor at the British School of Osteopathy; three and half years at a Baby Café with Surestart, supporting breastfeeding, following the UNICEF breastfeeding course and child development with primitive reflex assessment (Rhythmic Movement Therapy) and Cranial Osteopathic assessment and treatment.
As a mother of 3 grown-up children, she has always treated pregnant and postpartum women, babies and children. Recently the desire to expand and extend her knowledge in this area resulted in the completion of the 2 year Paediatric Osteopathic Diploma, run by the Sutherland Cranial College; with whom she is also a Fellow having completed the comprehensive training on the Pathway in Cranial Osteopathy, which runs over 6+ years.
Other postgraduate studies include a yearly Biodynamic course, now in the 7th year, alongside the Paediatric Biodynamics course run in the USA by Jim Jealous, ‘the father of osteopathy’ to osteopathic learning.
She is training towards being a consultant for Rhythmic Movement Therapy, having worked with Primitive Reflexes for the last 12 years.
She enjoys treating patients from birth to the elderly with a wide range of conditions, using a variety of osteopathic techniques in her practices with Cranial Osteopathy at the heart of treatment. The importance of preventing symptoms, maintaining their recovery through exercise and lifestyle is vital to sustain patient changes.
Hobbies are trying to stay fit, hitting a ball in tennis and table tennis, running and body awareness and strength with Pilates, which she has studied for 15 years with a view to guiding patients towards the best exercise regime.

Rebecca Basten
OSTEOPATH
Rebecca holds a Masters degree in Osteopathy from Swansea University, where she undertook over 1,000 hours of clinical placement and developed her skills in patient centred, hands-on care.
Her background in competitive football, combined with academic excellence, gives her a unique appreciation for the relationship between anatomy, movement, recovery and performance.
Rebecca has a particular interest in sports injury rehabilitation and cranial
osteopathy, having gained hands-on experience in both areas. Rebecca recently worked with the Dussindale & Hellesdon Women’s Football Team – where she provided support for soft tissue therapy, injury assessment, and taping
– showing rapid decision-making using her anatomical knowledge and palpation skills in real time. Rebecca has a genuine drive to make a difference in people’s lives through osteopathy.
In addition to her professional skills,Rebecca brings an approachable and
empathetic energy to her practice. Her patients can expect honest, enthusiastic
care, rooted in building trust and listening carefully. She is passionate about ongoing learning and has a long-term vision to blend her osteopathic practice with travel and multicultural experiences.
